Case 1005
Dr. Kachenmeister discusses this case. This 36-year-old patient stands 4’11” tall and weighs 85 lb. She’s had 3 children all by C-Section and felt that she would like a mommy makeover. On examining her, indeed she had muscle separation of her abdominal wall with a small hernia of her bellybutton. She had also lost volume in her bustline. We discussed various options and decided on a transaxillary breast augmentation using silicone breast implants, and we chose the size of 250 cc, high profile implants. We also performed a full abdominoplasty keeping the scar very low in her bikini line and using the hooded flap reconstruction technique to recreate her bellybutton.

Case 1013
Dr. Kachenmeister discusses this case. This 45-year- old female is 5’6” tall and weighs 120 lbs., and she wished to have a mommy makeover. We discussed various options and decided on a full abdominoplasty and a transaxillary breast augmentation with silicone breast implants. At the time of surgery, we placed 450 cc, smooth, round, high profile, silicone breast implants via the armpit approach. She also had a full abdominoplasty trying to remove as many stretch marks as possible. We were able to recreate a very natural looking bellybutton using the superior flap technique, but unfortunately she did not have enough skin to allow us to bring the bellybutton donation site low enough to be removed. Therefore, we closed her with a small vertical incision in the midline and then kept her horizontal scar very low in her bikini line. She is very pleased with the result.

Case 1015
Dr. Kachenmeister discusses this case. This is 44-year-old patient stands 5’5” tall and weighs 135 lb. After giving birth to her only child, she was disappointed with the laxity of her abdominal wall and the mild involution of her breasts. We discussed various options and decided on a mommy makeover. Therefore, we took her to surgery and performed a transaxillary breast augmentation using 350 cc, moderate plus, gel implants; liposuction on her outer thighs, and a full abdominoplasty. We elected to reconstruct her new bellybutton using the hooded flap technique giving her a very normal looking umbilicus. She is very happy with her transformation.
