Case 1003
Dr. Kachenmeister discusses this case. This 24-year- old patient is 6’ tall and weighs 205 lbs. Using diet and exercise, he lost over 50 lbs. and was left with excess skin around his midsection. After discussing his options, we had decided on a full abdominoplasty. During surgery, we removed approximately 3 lbs. of skin and tissue from the lower abdomen and performed a hooded flap umbilicus reconstruction technique giving him a very natural looking bellybutton. We kept his scar well below the beltline allowing him to wear board shorts with confidence. He is thrilled with his result.

Case 1005
Dr. Kachenmeister discusses this case. This 36-year-old patient stands 4’11” tall and weighs 85 lb. She’s had 3 children all by C-Section and felt that she would like a mommy makeover. On examining her, indeed she had muscle separation of her abdominal wall with a small hernia of her bellybutton. She had also lost volume in her bustline. We discussed various options and decided on a transaxillary breast augmentation using silicone breast implants, and we chose the size of 250 cc, high profile implants. We also performed a full abdominoplasty keeping the scar very low in her bikini line and using the hooded flap reconstruction technique to recreate her bellybutton.

Case 1006
Dr. Kachenmeister discusses this case. This 53-year- old patient wished to have her tummy tightened. She is 5’1” and weighs 116 lbs., and she has had a previous hysterectomy with a lower abdominal scar. After discussing various options, we decided on a modified or sometimes called “mini” tummy tuck which means we did not create a scar around her bellybutton but simply “floated” it in a downward direction. This allowed us to keep her abdominoplasty scar quite low in her bikini line. She is very pleased with her decision for this procedure.

Case 1010
Dr. Kachenmeister discusses this case. After several children, this 30-year- old patient could not get rid of the excess skin and tissue from her lower tummy. She stands 5’1” tall and weighs 150 lb., and we decided to perform a full abdominoplasty. We did discuss the location of her scar which we wanted to keep very low, but of course we could not remove all of the tattoos she had on her tummy. As you can see from the photographs, we lowered the tattoos remarkably and kept her scar very low in the bikini line.
We also used the hooded flap umbilical technique to give her a very natural looking bellybutton.
She is very pleased.

Case 1012
Dr. Kachenmeister discusses this case. After having her children, this 39 year old patient could not get any more improvement for her abdomen with diet and exercise. She stands 5′ 6″ tall and weights 138 lbs. Because of all the loose skin after her pregnancies we decided to perform a full abdomnionplasty using the hooded flap umbilical technique which gave her a very natural result.

Case 1017
Dr. Kachenmeister discusses this case. This 30-year- old patient stands 5’3” tall and weighs 145 lb. After giving birth to several children, she was unhappy with the contour of her abdomen. She and I decided that a full abdominoplasty would give her the best result, and we utilized the hooded flap umbilical technique to reconstruct a very natural looking bellybutton for her. She is very happy with her new contour.

Case 1023
Dr. Kachenmeister discusses this case. This 32-year-old male had lost a significant amount of weight. At the time of surgery, he was 219 lb. and stands 6’1” tall. Despite a very active lifestyle including an excellent workout schedule, he was left with excess skin of his lower abdomen. We decided on performing a modified abdominoplasty keeping his scar very low below his beltline, and he is very happy with his result.
